Today (September 14th) was The Nation's Triathlon! While my race results were somewhat disappointing (20th of 178 in my age group - not what I was hoping for) the effort was not. We have raised $3200 this year - which when added to last year puts the total at over $9000! Thank you to everyone who contributed or signed the guestbook or sent their support along in anyway. It was a hot and sticky day - but all throughout I kept thinking about all the people the race would help. You are all GREAT!

I am so glad that we did this fundraiser in Tony's memory. It made me think of him often - I hope it does the same for you. His was a life well lived.

Not many pictures today - too hot for our normal spectators to come! I'll see what I can find and put them up asap.

Our duty now is to carry on and continue to fight cancer as Tony would have wanted us to. I am thinking of putting on a new race in Mt. Vernon next year. Watch this space for details.
